IS militia kidnap two Kurds south of Kirkuk

<p style="text-align: left;">Security sources in Iraq have reported that the Islamic State (IS) terrorists have kidnapped two Kurdish security forces in the south of the disputed province of Kirkuk.

Unidentified armed elements kidnapped the two oil well guards in the south of the disputed province in northern Iraq, a security source told Iraq's Al-Akhbariya news base in Tuesday afternoon.

According to the source, who preferred to remain unknown, the kidnapped young people were from the village of Yankijeh in the town of Daquq, south of Kirkuk, and were working as guards at an oil well near the village of Jurkeh.

Hours later, a security force informed in an interview with the Shafaq News Agency that the two young men, 21 and 23, are Kurds and are electricity protection forces and have been kidnapped by IS terrorist elements.
