According to obtained information, a high-ranking delegation from the Syrian Kurdish National Council (ENKS) visited Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region, in Wednesdsy morning to hold talks with Kurdish Region officials.
Mohammed Ismail, a member of the central council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Syria (KDP-s), Fawzia Yusuf, a member of the executive board of ENKS, Nemat Dawood, secretary-general of the Kurdish Equality Democratic Party of Kurdistan, Faisal Yusuf, secretary-general of the Kurdish Reform Party of Syria, and Suleiman Osso, the secretary general of the Kurdistan Unity Party, entered the Kurdish region from Semilka border crossing.
Although the delegation has made no statements on the intention of the travel to Erbil, given the recent developments in the region, the issue of negotiations with the Democratic Union Party(PYD) and the ENKS will be one of the most important topics that will be discussed with Kurdistan region officials.
