According to Roj News Turkish military warplanes heavily bombed the village of Hatni near Kurzha Mt. in the Shiladze district of Dohuk province on Saturday May 30 at 10 a.m. local time.
The two civilians living in the Deir Luk region of Shiladze sub-district lost their lives in the attack, according to the report.
Turkey's air strikes on Kurdistan has killed and wounded civilians in the region.
The Kurdistan Regional Government has not responded to the attack and has blamed the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) for the presence of its forces in the region which Turkey has reacted to by bombing areas in the region. Erbil has called on the PKK to leave the region so that Turkey would stop its bombings.
