HDP lawmaker Leyla Guven released from prison

<p style="text-align: left;">Turkey Pro-Kurdish Peoples&amp;rsquo; Democratic Party (HDP) lawmaker Leyla Guven was released from prison on Tuesday.

Her release came five days after she was imprisoned over alleged links to the outlawed militant Kurdistan Workers&rsquo; party (PKK), Ahval news agency reported.
The HDP lawmaker&rsquo;s release follows an appeal filed by her lawyer, pro-Kurdish Firat News Agency said.
Guven is one of three opposition MPs in Turkey detained immediately after being stripped of parliamentary immunity on June 5.
The government has repeatedly accused the HDP of ties to the PKK, which fought against the Turkish state in the country&rsquo;s southeast parts since 1984.
Turkey, the United States and European Union designate PKK as a terrorist group. The HDP denies such links.
