Iran, Russia officials discuss Syrian developments in phone call

<p style="text-align: left;">Iranian Ambassador to Moscow and the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister held a phone call and discussed the Syrian crisis and the way to provide humanitarian aid to the war-torn country.

Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali and the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin held a telephone conversation on Friday regarding regional issues and the latest development in Syria.

Both sides traded their views on the virtual summit of Iranian, Russian, and Turkish presidents on the latest developments in Syria and the Astana Peace Process.

The two official also negotiated about providing humanitarian aid to the people in Syria and finding a political solution for the country.

Iran, Russia, and Turkey are working closely to resolve the Syrian crisis as part of the Astana Peace Process, Mehr News Agency reported.
