Kobani, commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Army, met with Alexander Chaiko, commander of the Russian forces based in Syria.
"We met with the commander of Russian forces in Syria. During the meeting, we discussed issues of mutual concern by Turkey, violating the October 23rd agreement and killing three Kurdish civilians and political activists in Kobani by the Turkish armed forces. The meeting also included an increase in the level of coordination and an increase in joint cooperation between the two sides,” Kobani wrote in a message on Twitter.
The Kurdish commander further thanked the Russian side for its efforts to ease tensions in the region.
