"Negotiations are ongoing but no agreement has been reached on the return of Roj Peshmerga forces to Syrian Kurdistan," said Saud Mullah, the chairman of the ENKS, in an interview with Rudaw about talks between the Syrian Kurdish parties on the issue of unity.
Regarding the talks between the ENKS and the Kurdish Patriotic Union Parties (PYNK), Saud Mullah said: "Negotiations between the two sides are ongoing."
"This issue has not been raised in the talks so far and no agreement has been reached in this regard," the head of the Kurdish council said about the return of the Roj Peshmerga forces to Syria Kurdistan
Saud Mullah also said: "We have several demands, including the abolition of compulsory service, the fate of prisoners, as well as the non-Syrians who are in the ranks of the Democratic Union Party (PYD)."
He said: "We thank the people who came to help Syria Kurdistan but they must return now," stressing that the region (Syria Kurdistan) is now run by Syrian Kurds.
A few days ago in Qamishli, the capital of the Syrian Kurdish region, a meeting was formed between the Syrian Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK.S), the Assyrian Democratic Movement and Tiar al-Akhd and the Arab Council of Cizre (Reconciliation and Freedom Front).
Regarding the formation of the Reconciliation and Freedom Front inCizre, Saud Mullah said: "First of all, Syrian structures must agree with each other so that these structures can reach a conclusion over the future of Syria."
