Turkish and US foreign ministers meet in Dominican Republic

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, the Turkish Foreign Minister criticized Biden's recent remarks on Turkey: "We reject such impositional policies. Biden's remarks are ignorant statements as he has no knowledge of the Turkish people."
The New York Times published a video file of the US Democratic Presidential Candidate, Joe Biden, in which he has called for backing Kurds in Turkey and toppling the government of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan through elections.
According to the New York Times, the Donald Trump's rival Joe Biden released a statement last December in which he explained to the newspaper's editors that he was concerned about Erdogan's treatment of the Kurds in Turkey.
