Turkish military forces bombed parts of Shingal and Makhmour in Kurdistan last night and this morning.
The Euphrates news agency reported that Turkish military forces bombed the checkpoint of Izad Khan security forces in the village of Bara Shingal Thursday evening with a drone attack on Shingal. The attacks reportedly killed one person and injured several others in the village.
Mesopotamia News Agency also reported that Turkish military fighter jets attacked Makhmour camp in the early hours of Friday morning and wrote: "After the drone attack on Shingal yesterday evening, the Turkish Armed Forces targeted Makhmour this morning and caused material damage in this area. No casualties have been reported so far."
Makhmour Camp is where thousands of residents of the border towns and villages of Shirang and Hakari migrated to the camp in the 1990s due to evacuation of the regions. The camp has been the target of repeated attacks by Turkish troops in recent years. Many people have lost their lives in the airstrikes.
It should be noted that the Turkish military had previously bombed the center of Shingal and Sakniyeh Hospital on August 26 and 8 this year.
