Kurds seeking to control Kirkuk, disputed region: MP

<p style="text-align: left;">A former Iraqi parliament member form Turkmani Front stated that Kurds are seeking to control Kirkuk province and the other disputed regions in Iraq in order to export its oil.

Fawzi Akram told al-Malomeh news agency that are attempting to control Kirkuk in roder to use its oil fields, claiming that the residents of Kirkuk and other disputed region are against the return of the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga to the region.

The MP added Turkmans should have their own force and prevent from calling for forces from Baghdad, stressing that Iraqi next president and his first deputy should be Turkmans.
