"The statements the Syrian Democratic Union Party (PYD) make against the ENKS are no longer acceptable," said Ibrahim Biro, a member of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Syrian Kurdish National Council (ENKS), about talks between Syrian Kurdish parties.
"Some of the basic principles that have emerged in the Kurdish negotiations have been in the presence of the American delegation. Therefore, negotiations between the two sides, ENKS and PYNK, will continue to establish a real partnership. Therefore, the parties must respect each other and prosecute those who make statements against ENKS. Every time we meet with Turkish delegations or the Syrian opposition, we are accused of betrayal, but the PYD itself always emphasizes its readiness to negotiate unconditionally with Turkey and the Syrian oppositions."
"In the last few years, nothing has been left in the region," Biro was quoted as saying by KRDnews, criticizing the performance of the North and East Syrian Autonomous Administration, adding that "They destroyed everything and used the security forces to keep the people hungry. They did not put any pressure on the central government to ensure the rights of the Kurds. The actions taken by the PKK in the Kurdistan Region and Shingal have strongly affected the PYD role in Syrian Kurdistan."
