Turkish planes bomb vicinity of a village around Duhok

Turkish planes bombed heavily the surrounding area of a village in the northern province of Dohuk in the Kurdistan Region.

According to Shafaq News, witnesses stated that Turkish planes bombed 14 missiles at the area around the village of Herwar in the upper Barwari area of ​​the Kani Masi region in the city of Emadiyeh.

According to witnesses, the attack caused extensive damage to agricultural fields as well as forests around the village.

Turkey claims that the aim of the attack, on Saturday November 20, is to clear the forces of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which operates in the border region between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey.

The tension, which has been ongoing for decades, has caused extensive casualties and material damage in the border areas within the Kurdistan region.
