According to Kurdish TV of Rudaw the German minister arrived in Erbil and was welcomed by Kurdish officials.
The ministerhas visited the regions many times and has held meetings with the leading officials of the region, including prime minister Nechirvan Barzani.
No information has been released about the reason behind the visit. though there are many German troops in the region and Vonder Layen has visited the troops many times.
