PUK member claims KDP acquits criminals who join the party

A member of the Patriot Union of Kurdistan (PUK) political school claimed: "Those who commit crimes in the PUK areas are ignored and acquitted of their crimes by becoming members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)."

According to Sharpers, Sitran Abdallah, a member of the political school of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, said in an interview: Those who commit a crime will be forgiven by joining the KDP, and this is a document that shows the party is not serious in solving security and legal problems.

He added: "Especially when a person commits a crime in the areas under the control of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, he is forgiven by being a member of the party, and this causes the criminals to consider this situation as an opportunity and are encouraged to commit more crimes."

This member of the PUK political school emphasized: the KDP interference in judicial matters comes from the fact that they consider themselves the rulers and commanders of the judiciary, and for this reason, the government led by the KDP does not believe in the law and does not have to be responsible."

He clarified: When a person has a relationship with another party in the court, the KDP magnifies his problem, but there are several documents that those with very big crimes can escape and be acquitted by becoming members of the KDP.
