Zarif left Iraq for Tehran on Thursday evening.
Zarif and the accompanying high-ranking politico-economic delegation hold separate meetings is a 5-day visit to Baghdad and Erbil and returned Tehran later today.
The foreign minister also participated in five gatherings of economic activists in different cities of Iraq and got acquainted with obstacles and problems in the way of expansion of ties between the two countries.
Concerning results of his visit to Iraq, Zarif pointed to existing potential for mutual cooperation between the two countries, and underlined that Iran is fully ready to take serious steps in connection with cancellation of reciprocal visa, reducing or eliminating customs tariffs and establishment of industrial towns in border areas.
He added that Iran-Iraq relations have a bright and clear horizon.
