NATO forces to replace U.S. troops in Syria Kurdish regions

<p style="text-align:left">The U.S. acting Defense Minister stated he has discussed, in Brussels, with his country's allies the deployment of NATO forces into northern Syria to replace the U.S. troops in the Kurdish region.

According to a Patric Shanahan statement he wants to discuss the issue with U.S. allies in the anti-IS coalition.
Shanahan has asked U.S. allies in Europe to provide necessary forces for the planned safe zone in northern Syria after U.S. troops left the region.
Syria Kurds are afraid Turkey may launch attack the region after U.S. withdrawal.
The acting minister has stated using NATO capacities to provide security for the zone is an option.
He stressed the US is detemined to withdraw its forces despite blames, but refused to set a timetable for the withdrawal.
