Barzani’s office said in a statement on Monday, July 8, that the region’s president would meet Macron at the Elysee Palace on Wednesday.

Both sides would discuss bilateral ties and the latest development in the Middle East, the president’s office added.

This will be the first visit of Barzani to France since his election as President of Kurdistan Region last month, reported NRT.
