The Turkish Air Forces have killed six militants of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) forces in a strike on northern Iraq, the military stated on Jan. 7.

According to a statement from the General Staff, the militants were planning an attack on military posts and bases, Hurriyet daily reported.

The “counter-terror operation” was conducted in the town of Kani Rash, the statement added.
