Fuad Ali told SNN that the institute has made preparations for the visit in order to ease tensions between the region and Baghdad and improve ties between the two sides.

The Kurdish delegation will meet Iraqi Shiite officials and movement leaders, including Muqtada al-Sadr, the chief of Sadr Movement.

Ali went on to add that the way the Kurds in Iraq are to participate in Iraq politics and the future government system of the country are to be discussed in the visit.
