Iraqi council approves intelligence cooperation with Iran

<p style="text-align:left">Iraq's National Security Council in its Sunday's session studied and approved a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed by Tehran and Baghdad on intelligence cooperation between the two countries.

The session was presided over by Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, IRNA agency quoting the media department of the office of prime minister as saying, adding that no further details have been made available.

Some issues related the country's internal security such as conditions in the regions liberated from the IS terrorists and the annual report on the country's stability status were also reviewed in the session.
