<p style="text-align:left">A Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in the region of Daquq stated that there are no Iraqi forcrs in the villages around the northern city of Kirkuk, Kirkuk provnce, and all the villages are under the control of the terrorist group of the Islamic State (IS).

The chief of the PUK in Daquq, Edris Adil, told VOA redio that Iraqi foeces have only formed patole groups and checking stations on the roads that leads into Kirkuk and there are no Iraqi forces in the villages of the province.
IS forces have turned the villages into thier bases and uses them to kidnap and kill citizens and civilians.
