Turkish fighter jets shelled Khwakurk, Sarchaman, Lolan, Khzira, Bisun and Gali Rash in the Bradost area on Sunday night, NRT reported.
Turkish warplanes also shelled Gali Badran and Bokriskani villages in the foothills of Qandil Mountains.
No casualties were reported at the time of reporting.
Recently, the Turkish army has been shelling the Kurdistan Region’s border areas on the pretext of the presence of suspected Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) positions.
Units of the Turkish military also entered approximately 15 kilometers into the Kurdistan Region.
On Thursday (March 22), four people were killed after Turkish warplanes shelled three villages in Qasre town in the district of Choman, northeast of the Kurdistan Region's capital city, Erbil.
