German foreign minister supports Iran nuclear deal

<p style="text-align: left;">German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas backed Iran nuclear deal also known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Without the nuclear agreement [Iran nuclear deal], the situation in the Middle East will be much more dangerous. G7 therefore seek solutions together to protect the agreement, Federal Foreign Office quoted Maas as saying at G7 ministerial meeting in Toronto.

According to IRNA Maas earlier said that that members of the Group of Seven leading industrialized nations are looking for ways to preserve the 2015 Iran nuclear deal with six world powers.

US President Donald Trump has threatened to leave the nuclear deal unless what he called as its flaws are removed by May 12. French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel are to meet Trump in Washington this week with the JCPOA being one of the main topics of their discussion.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has already confirmed ten times Iran's commitment to the landmark July 2015 international deal.
