Hasan Salim stated that the U.S. tries to increase its presence on the pretext of training Iraqi forces and thereby increase their domination over the state, urging Baghdad to take stance against the U.S. decision.

According to al-Mawghaf al-Iraqi Salim stressed that Iraqi security commanders are experienced enough to train police and army forces and fight against the Islamic State (IS) and there is no need for foreign troops to train Iraqi forces.
