According to NRT, IHEC said during a press conference that the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) took a lead in the province of Duhok and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) was leading in the election in Kirkuk.

Results of the parliamentary election in Duhok:

Kurdistan Democratic party: 348,777 votes

Kurdistan Islamic Union: 48,300 votes

Patriotic Union of Kurdistan: 25,823 votes

New Generation: 17,823 votes

Results for Kirkuk province:

Patriotic Union of Kurdistan: 184,300 votes

Nasr Coalition: 24,246 votes

Fatah Coalition: 18,406 votes

Wataniya Alliance: 14,932 votes

Nishtiman List: 13,575 votes

New Generation: 12,836 votes
