Istanbul Municipality to hire Kurdish-speaking instructors

<p style="text-align:left">Istanbul Municipality announced that it would hire two instructors who have bachelor&amp;rsquo;s degrees in Kurdish Language and Literature. The municipality will offer Kurdish lessons at the Istanbul Arts and Professional Training Center (ISMEK) which offers free classes to all Istanbul residents.

Governed by the main opposition Republican People&rsquo;s Party (CHP), the municipality required applicants to be below the age of 30 and noted that the instructors could be appointed to any district in the city, Duvar reported.
CHP leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu met with graduates of the Kurdish Language and Literature department in August and said that the city would be offering Kurdish lessons and nursing services in Kurdish.
The city announced the opening along with 43 different positions and will accept applications between December 13 and 17.
