During his stay in Iran, Lavrov is to discuss regional, international and bilateral issues like Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan and economic cooperation.

The two foreign ministers will sign two cooperation documents on cultural agreement and action plan for economic cooperation.
