“A number of militants attacked on one of our bases in Kolajo and killed two of our members and wounded some other members,” Peshmerga officer Bakhtiar Hama Salih told NRT.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which occurred in which is located in Koks sub-district, but Islamic State (IS) cells are known to be active in the area.

On November 29, IS militants attacked Kolajo, killing three Asayish including a commander.
