“As of April 22, we have released 22,000 prisoners and 40,000 detainees in Iraq’s governorates,” the Judicial Council said in a statement.
“The decision was made in accordance with the directives of the Crisis Cell to prevent further coronavirus outbreaks,” the statement added.
