Halbusi, U.S. ambassador discuss ways to support new Iraqi government

The office of Mohammed Halbusi, the speaker of the Iraqi parliament, said in a statement that he received the American ambassador to Baghdad Matthew Tuler on Thursday, June 4.
According to the statement, Halbousi and Tuler discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support the government of Mustafa al-Kadhimi, the new prime minister of the federal government in the security, economic, cultural and scientific fields within the mutual interests. The U.S. ambassador in Baghdad confirmed his country's readiness to provide assistance to Iraq in various fields.
