According to the Xendan news website, Hadi Ali, chairman of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Party, reacted to the recent Turkish military attacks on the Kurdistan Region and posted a message on Twitter, saying that the military operations of neighboring countries against the borders of the Kurdistan Region should be justified as "it is not just a violation of Iraqi sovereignty but it threatens the present and the future of the Kurdistan Region."

Ali stressed that these military operations require fundamental solutions, and that this is the duty and responsibility of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the central government of Iraq to find a solution to the trouble.
