U.S. withdrawal from Syria a big threat, Kurdish official tells Kurdpress

<p style="text-align: left;">The head of the Syrian Kurds Patriotic Council warned that the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from northern Syria will create a big danger in the region, adding that the Kurds in northern Syria demand a new governing system which protects all ethnics in the north of Syria.

Ebrahim Boro, the head of ENKS told Kurdpress about the result of the visits of U.S. officials to Turkey that &ldquo;the withdrawal of the U.S. forces will definitely make a big danger and Washington wants to leave a heritage in the north and east of the Euphrates.&rdquo;

He further stated that the Kurds in the north of Syria fear the withdrawal of the forces would end in a PYD and PKK war with Turkey or the return of government forces to the region and therefore a new wave of migrations start there.

Boro added that the ENKS demands the creation of a new force in the region in order to take the control of the region after the withdrawal of the U.S. troops.

The PYD ruling of northern Syria is not accepted by either Turkey or the people of the region as the PYD pressures people, Boro stated, adding that the U.S. has not taken any steps for the ENKS-affiliated Peshmerga forces of Roj.

The Syrian Kurdish leader added that the ROJ Peshmerga forces and the ENKS play a significant role in the future of Syria and the Roj forces would try to establish an acceptable ruling system in the region in order to solve the political process in the region.
