Syria Service - The application of a Syrian Kurdish family from the Rukn al-Din area of Damascus to receive Syrian citizenship has been rejected due to lack of the necessary official documents. The family members say that they have been mistakenly considered "Turkish Kurds", and this situation has created extensive restrictions on education, property and registration of services in their name.
