Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said 300 Islamic State (ISIS) members surrendered early on Monday, January 24, following days of clashes after a prison-break attempt in the northeast city of Hasaka.
The governorate of northern and eastern Syria imposed a one-week curfew to secure the Hasaka region, where ISIS prisoners have managed to escape the prison in the province of Hasaka.
The representative of the Syrian Democratic Assembly in the Iraqi Kurdistan region said Hasaka prison was under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The representative of the Democratic Syrian Parliament in the Iraqi Kurdistan region stated that the self-ruling administration in northern Syria wants to make the genocide of the Yazidi minority to be recognized worldwide.
