Turkey said Saturday it was “not in a position” to ratify Sweden’s NATO membership, despite a series of steps taken by Stockholm to meet Ankara’s demands, Agence France-Presse reported.
Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi is slated to visit Turkey as well as Syria following an invitation from both countries, a foreign ministry spokesperson has said on Monday, adding that the plans are being finalized.
