Service Turkey – Tayyip Temel, the joint vice-chair of the DAP, announced that Abdullah Öcalan evaluated the draft peace law as "insufficient and limited, but an important beginning" and called for the process to continue step by step. Temel said that this law should, while providing the possibility of Öcalan's free leadership of the process, enable the return of members and leaders of the freedom movement and their participation in democratic politics.
