Syria Service - An analyst of Syrian affairs, examining the recent developments in Hasakah, believes that the establishment of "war tents" under the title of tribal representation, although carried out with the aim of increasing political pressure simultaneously with the negotiations between Damascus and the autonomous administration, ultimately failed to change the balance of power and showed once again that the future of northern and eastern Syria depends more on the process of negotiations and political agreements than on being determined on the ground.
