The German Bundestag on Friday voted in favor of extending the country’s military mission in Iraq including the Kurdistan Region, extending it for an extra year.
The leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) held a meeting on Wednesday (May 25) where they agreed to form a joint committee to discuss the process for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
