Mazlum Kobani, Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Army, expressed his condolences to Nechirvan Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Region, in a message on the death of Firsat Sofi, Governor of Erbil, who died of the Corona virus.

Kobani posted a message on his official Twitter page condoling the death of Sofi to the President of the Kurdistan Region, the people of Erbil and the people of the Kurdistan Region.

It should be noted that Sofi's body was transferred from Ankara to Erbil International Airport this morning and was buried in Sheikh Ahmed Cemetery.
