Pointing to the tension and divisions that have occurred between the two parties of the KDP and PUK in the recent months, Saadi Ahmed Pira said that the KDP should ultimately interact with new leaders of the PUK who have been chosen in the Fourth Congress of the party, Sharpress's news website reported.
Pira noted that the KDP’s stance was not positive, from the beginning, in dealing with the fourth congress of the PUK and the new leadership of the PUK was elected in a congress and were elected by its members.
Regarding a recent call by the PUK to implement decentralization in the KRG system, which a committee has been formed by a Sulaimani Provincial Council to follow up on the demand, he said the PUK wants to implement decentralization for all the provinces, not just Sulaimani.
