In an interview with the Xalak news website, Hasan Ali said that the Kurdistan region negotiating delegation will go to Baghdad, after the end of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, to continue previous talks with the central government over oil revenues and the region's share of budget.
The PUK official added that the Iraqi government's approval of the allocation of 400 billion Iraqi dinars to the regional government is a positive step to resolve the problems and disputes and reach an agreement between Erbil and Baghdad.
He further added that the Kurdish delegation will negotiate with the central government on all issues between the two governments with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Kazemi and Finance Minister Ali Allawi to reach a comprehensive agreement with the central government.
Meanwhile, an informed source, who spoke to Baghdad Al-Yaum on condition of anonymity, said that Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masroor Barzani tasked members of the Kurdish regional negotiating team with fully co-ordinating with Baghdad and providing all the information that Iraqi authorities would demand about the Kurdish region's income.
The source noted that the region is ready to hand over border revenues and 250,000 barrels of oil per day to Baghdad to receive the financial share of the budget and salaries of the Peshmerga forces.
