In the message on the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the PUK and congratulating it to the party's leaders and supporters, Barzani said that the PUK is a key partner in the KRG government, according to Xalk news website.
The PM of the Kurdish region expressed his hope that, along with the PUK and the Change Movement and all political parties and groups, there will be harmony and co-ordination in defending the legal rights of the region and going beyond the current difficult circumstances through supporting government's plans and implementing the Reform Law as a demand of all parties and citizens.
Previously, the Kurdistan Democratic Party's (Party) political office congratulated the PUK in a message.
Meanwhile Nechirvan Barzani, the deputy leader of the KDP and the president of the Kurdistan Region, in a message to the PUK party, congratulated the party and stated that the PUK is a key partner in establishing the region and gaining its achievements, stressing the need to maintain the alliance among the region's parties.
