In an interview with the New York Times seven months ago, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden expressed dissatisfaction with the current Turkish government led by Recep Tayyip Erdogan and described him an autocrat.
In the interview, Joe Biden expressed dissatisfaction with Turkey's treatment of the Kurds and said he would not appease Turkey over the Kurds.
The Democratic nominee also accused U.S. President Donald Trump administration in 2019 of betraying the Syrian Kurds in the face of a Turkish attack.
Bloomberg noted that US support for the Syrian Kurds began during the administration of Barack Obama and when Joe Biden's was the first vice president.
The report says Turkish government officials' concern about Biden's remarks is understandable. Referring to Biden's statements a few years ago about the partition of Iraq, the magazine considers Biden's presidency a kind of trouble for Turkey.
The magazine called Biden a supporter of the Kurds and wrote that the election of Joe Biden as the new US President would be a serious problem for Turkey and will be Ankara's biggest concern.
