Turkish army bombs areas in Sulaimani province

Turkish military fighters again bombed the Kurdish region of Sulaimani province, targeting a vehicle in the Pishdar area of ​​Qaladize region.

Abdullah Abbas, the mayor of Jawarau district in Pishdar region of Sulaimani province, told Rudaw TV that Turkish army fighters had targeted a Toyota Hilux car this afternoon, Monday August 30.

He added that the attack took place on a road in the village of Mardui and that the vehicle, which was believed to be belonging to PKK forces, had caught fire and no further information on possible casualties had been released yet.

The area around the bombing site also caught fire, and Turkish fighters are patrolling the area.

Turkey has bombed areas in Sulaimani province under the pretext of the presence of PKK forces, and local officials insisted that no armed forces were present in the bombed areas.
