Erdogan has missed opportunities to make peace with Kurds: analyst

<p style="text-align: left;">A political analyst believes that the Turkish president had many opportunities to make peace with the Kurds but missed them all.

Political analyst Osama al-Sharif called Turkey's economic situation unfavorable due to Turkey's presence in the region's disputes and tensions.

In an article published in the English-language newspaper of Arabic News, he believes that instead of focusing on the issue of peace with the Kurds, Turkey has become embroiled in a number of crises in the region and most of its neighbors which will face the country with many challenges in its foreign policy.

The analyst criticized Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for not paying attention to calls for peace in the region, especially with the Kurds, in recent years.

He emphasizes that instead of addressing the Kurdish issue, which is the most important issue, Turkey has been involved with the Kurdish issue in Syria.

According to Osama al-Sharif, Erdogan should address the Kurdish issue in Turkey; he had opportunities to resolve the issue but did used the chances.
