This newspaper published a report on protest rallies in the Kurdish region against any possible war and stated that ordinary people have strongly opposed to hostilities between various Kurdish groups in the Kurdistan Region and are concerned about the possibility of a civil war between the PKK and the Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party.
The newspaper quoted the organizers of the popular protests as saying that the people stressed on the need for peace between the Kurdish groups and in particular called on the KDP to refrain from escalating tensions with the PKK.
