"The Shiite Coordination Framework is capable of forming a government and electing a prime minister, because all political parties are interested in holding serious talks to form a government," Saad al-Saadi was quoted as saying in a televised interview, according to Al-Ma'lomeh news agency.
Al-Saadi, noting that Sunni-Kurdish coalitions are ready to negotiate with the Shiite Coordination Framework, added: "There is no option for a tripartite coordination and coalition framework other than forming a government."
He noted that the lack of ties between the Coordination Framework and the Sadr Movement has affected the political process and foreign interference has led to a political stalemate in the country.
