PUK official media reported that a delegation from the party, including Qadir Hama Jan, Rafat Abdulla, Mahmoud Sangawi, Bafl Talabani, and Rizgar Ali, paid a visit to Gorran;s main headquarters in Sulaimani.
The PUK delegation met with Gorran General Coordinator, Omer Said Ali, and other members of the Change Movement, according to the report.
The PUK hopes both parties will work to resolve the problems between the two parties, as well as the issues in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq more generally, PUK member Ali said.
A member of the Gorran delegation, Rauf Osman, said that the meeting between both parties was important and hoped that the issues between them will be resolved, NRT reported.
Relations between both parties deteriorated after a PUK official, along with his armed guards, attacked the Gorran headquarters following the announcement of the preliminary results of the parliamentary election.
Gorran and other parties expressed opposition to the results and alleged fraud. It also claimed that the electronic voting system had been hacked.
