Speaking with SNN news website the Peshmerga official denied the reports that stated the Kurdish forces have been deployed to the region and are settled there.

Yawar refuted the reports as true and stated the reports are baseless, adding that no agreements have been made between Baghdad and Erbil over the deployment of the Kurdish forces to Khanaqin.
