HDP says Turkey should quit Syria

<p style="text-align: left;">Co-chair of Turkey pro-Kurdish People&rsquo;s Democratic Party (HDP) Sezai Temelli said on Friday, December 21, that Syria should decide its future for itself and all the foreign powers should follow the example of the United States and withdraw their forces from the country, including Turkey and Russia.

“The United Nations should continue to work to put an end to the Syrian crisis,” Temelli said in a statement.

US President Donald Trump overrode his top national security aides on Wednesday by announcing the withdrawal of US troops from Syria, blindsiding US ground commanders, lawmakers, and allies.
